How can we help you?
10 Terms and conditions

Our terms and conditions represent a legal agreement between Greater Good South Africa, yourself and the principal or school management team of your school.  Teachers Dream strives to protect the rights of our donors, the educators and learners we serve, and ourselves.  We look forward to working with you so that your verified proposals are funded and executed according to the parameters of your proposal.

1.  Your General Responsibilities
When you submit a proposal, you promise that you are an active South African educator, registered with the South African Council of Educators, currently employed by the school you record, directly serving the learners you note.  You guarantee that the Dream (project or activity) you propose is legal and that falls within the bounds of your school's regulatory bodies.  You undertake that all the information you provide to Teachers Dream is accurate, and that you will promptly update your information to keep it accurate.  You ensure that the proposals you submit are for you and your class, not for any other educator.  You are solely responsible for the ideas and descriptions contained in your proposal, including its legality and appropriateness.  You will be responsible for your user ID and password that you use to access the areas of the site which are restricted to educators.  You undertake that you will not share your user and ID and password with anybody else.  You are responsible for ensuring that you always exit from your account properly whenever you have finished on the site, and that you notify Teachers Dream immediately if you think there has been any unauthorised use of you password or account.

2.  Your Responsibilities If Your Proposal is Funded
Greater Good South Africa will provide you with the means to fulfil your dream, only when your proposal is fully funded.  Funding is not guaranteed.

If your proposal is funded, you are accountable for the following:

1. You need to respond within 6 working days to our enquiry: "Do you still need these resources?"

2.  If your answer is Yes! Then we will post you Package No.1.

This contains:
  • The contract between Greater Good South Africa, yourself and your school principal or school management team;
  • The Permission and Indemnity forms to be signed by the parent/guardian of each child who will take part in your project;
  • A stamped envelope.
It is your responsibility to make sure that all the paperwork is signed correctly by the relevant people, and to post Package No.1 back to us within two weeks.

3.  When we have received Package No.1 back from you we will then provide you with the resources that you require to fulfil your dream.

4.  We will also send you Package No. 2.  This contains a disposable camera, an educator feedback form and a stamped envelope

5. It is your responsibility to take photographs of your activity; to fill out the educator feedback form; to ensure that your learners write thank-you notes to your donor; to post Package No.2 back to us within two weeks after your dream has been fulfilled.
