How can we help you?
06 What can I ask for?

At Teachers Dream, you may ask for resources that will improve the learning experience for your learners.   This may include the funding for outings, events, materials or supplies that directly benefit your learners.  Proposals may range from "Exploring Sea-Life at the St James Rock Pools" (R350) to "A Visit to the 'Hands that Shape Humanity' (R1800) to "A South African Novel of Their Own" (R4275).

Some examples of what you can / cannot request as your dream:

What I can request

1.  22 copies of Macbeth and Romeo and Juliet to give to my learners as resources so that they can achieve certain learning outcomes of the language learning area and so that they can respond to the aesthetic, affective, cultural and social values in the plays.
2.  20 rocket propelling kits so that my learners can achieve the design, research, gravity and propulsion learning outcomes of the technology learning area.
3.  The funds for my learners to undertake a field trip to the planetarium so that they can achieve certain learning outcomes of the life sciences learning area.

What I cannot request

1.  Books to further my studies.
2.  A computer in the administration office.
3.  The funds for me to attend a conference.
