Good feelings from Liqui Fruit

Monday, June 6th 2011

There was a whole lot of ‘good feeling’ spread across the social networks and in the media, when the Anti-Animal Cruelty League (AACL) won R200,000 in the Liqui Fruit 'Nothing but a good feeling' competition. They received an impressive 10,932 votes to win them the grand prize.

Refreshing
We found the competition refreshing because it really challenged the public mindset about giving. The concept used to promote the competition highlighted the ‘goodness of giving’ and that the ‘gift is in the giving’. So even though none of the voters received anything other than to experience a ‘good feeling’ – this is what giving to others is all about.

And there's more...
What was even more heart warming was that Liqui Fruit decided to donate an extra R10,000 to each of the remaining charities: Breadline Africa, Children of the Dawn, Educo Africa and i care. AACL is going to put the prize money to good use by building a mobile clinic for much needed sterilisations in the Western Cape.

Here’s to the 100% pure goodness of giving!
