Donations
These terms apply to any transaction between yourself and GreaterGood South Africa which reserves, at all times, the right to amend these terms as it may see fit, and any such amendments shall be deemed to apply as between yourself and GreaterGood South Africa.
To make donations through the websites using loyalty programme points, you must be over the age of 18 and be the holder of a valid MasterCard or Visa Card or a member of American Express Membership Rewards or eBucks or Nedbank Greenbacks.
To register you must to provide certain information including personal details, payment card details and your delivery address. You will be required to choose a password which you must keep secret at all times and you must enter your password each time you visit the websites. GreaterGood South Africa accepts no liability for any damages suffered or losses incurred from the use or misuse of your password.
Donations made by credit card are held for three months before they are paid out to causes. This is a precautionary measure to avoid payment reversals, as banks allow credit card payments to be cancelled for 90 days after the date of the transaction. GreaterGood South Africa will email details of the payments immediately after they have been made.
GreaterGood South Africa may not be held responsible for any dissatisfaction you may feel regarding any donation made to a cause or project through the websites. GreaterGood South Africa cannot be held responsible for any of the information, offers or requests posted on the websites by registered non-profit users or site visitors.
Causes receiving donations, including product donations or donations of time or skills, through GreaterGood South Africa are requested to report back and/or post photos within two weeks of receipt of the donation. Causes may not sell the products or use them for commercial gain. The products must be used for the purpose specified in the original proposal to GreaterGood South Africa. Impact stories and photos are, wherever possible, verified by the GreaterGood South Africa team and posted on the relevant websites, for public viewing. Where a donor has requested a copy of a report, we will email it to them.
Intellectual Property
GreaterGood South Africa retains all copyright in all material, including logos and other graphics, which form part of its websites. All data and information communicated to or from the websites and/or any site information and database remain and shall be the sole property of the GreaterGood South Africa group and/or the registered Causes supported by the websites.
GreaterGood South Africa grants you permission to view, electronically copy and print in hard copy portions of the websites for the sole purpose of browsing the websites and supporting causes, for your personal use only.
