GreaterGood South Africa pays out financial donations on a quarterly basis and we take responsibility for ensuring that your donation reaches your beneficiary.

 

More importantly, our single biggest commitment to you is to ensure that your donations are received by bona fide causes who reciprocate by demonstrating the unique benefit and impact of your gift.  This is the way we enable you to Experience the Gift that comes from giving.

 

To this end, GreaterGood South Africa provides you with a feedback report from your beneficiary so that you know how your donation made a positive difference.  Causes have three months to respond to donations (except where these are funds for longer term use or for programmatic funding when reports are provided quarterly until the donation has been utilised) and their feedback reports are featured on the site.  If we have your correct email address, we can then forward you your own personal gift report back to thank you for your contribution.

 

Your donations will be made simpler if you register and login with GreaterGood South Africa as we are able to provide you with a seamless service.  By registering and logging in each time you visit, your information is automatically used to pre-populate the relevant fields which saves you the time and hassle of having to enter it all over again.  Most importantly, if you are a registered donor who has provided us with your correct postal or email address we can provide you with your original donations receipt.  Find out more about Register & Login.

GreaterGoodSA increases public awareness of the different ways that the nation can engage with, and support the non-profit sector through its exciting call-to-action campaigns. Many people are willing to donate their time, skills and energy by volunteering to assist a good cause.  Many NPOs would greatly benefit from being able to access unique skills and person power.  We aim to connect South African volunteers to NPOs and CBOs.  You can:

Shopping

 

GreaterGood South Africa promotes responsible consumerism by giving you shopping options that impact positively on socio-economic development in our country.

 

Greater Goods are the stunning ranges of carefully selected, high quality products made by various NPOs as part of their poverty eradication and economic development endeavours. When you make a purchase from these ranges the proceeds go directly towards the funding of the particular organisation and community members that made the product.

 

The Good Shop includes a wide variety of shopping options where the retailer or service provider makes a percentage donation on your behalf to a cause of your choice, at no additional expense to you. It is our aim to offer you more and more of these products and services so that you can increasingly make good life choices when you shop.

 

Cause Currencies

There are various “currencies” you can use to make a donation to the Cause of your choice or to purchase quality goods and services to benefit a Cause.  It's not just about money, you can use also use the membership and loyalty programme points listed below.  All membership programme points donated are converted to their redemption value by the respective Points Programme Service Providers and remitted to the Cause of your choice.
