To make it easy for you to make a meaningful contribution, GreaterGood South Africa also showcases wishes of causes. These are 'wishlists' of specific goods, items or funds that NPOs and CBOs require urgently.

Dreams
Would you like to contribute to the improvement of education in South Africa?
You can browse, search and choose to support a Teachers Dream.
Here GreaterGood South Africa features the inspiring dreams of bona fide, registered South African educators who are dedicated to improving the quality of learning for their learners.
Teachers Dream is a partnership between Greater Good South Africa, the Shuttleworth Foundation and the South African Council of Educators.
Many educators have brilliant ideas of how to make Maths and Science come alive, how best to demonstrate life skills, how to show children the geography of the land or how to explore the metaphors of the Arts.
These "teachers' dreams" could easily come to fruition with support of small grants. In real terms, it actually doesn't cost that much to take Grade 4 learners to the planetarium or the Grade 10's to an inspiring exhibition. Activities such as these significantly build children's capacity through experiential learning, and enhance the learning outcomes of both the Revised National Curriculum Statement (RNCS) for the GET Phase, and the National Curriculum Statement (FET Phase).
