Do you have a passion for youth development and an urge to put something back into the youth community? Come lead it from out front.

MOT South Africa offers life-skills education programmes to the youth of our country, strengthening their courage, building on their self-awareness, helping them to make important, conscious choices.

Growth, evidenced by the introduction of these programmes to areas outside of the Western Cape plus the re-organisation of our small but dynamic office, MOT SA seeks truly caring and committed people who can and will thrive in such an environment.

Both these key new appointments are based in Rondebosch East, Cape Town.

Organisation Development & Training Manager

You’ll lead the expansion drive and effective implementation of the MOT programmes at TVET Colleges, high schools and communities, initially in the Western and Eastern Cape, later to everywhere else nationwide.

To fully understand the demands of this challenge and successfully sell the programmes to users, you should hold a relevant tertiary level education, plus adequate exposure to the education and skills development sectors.

Infectious, all-level communication and interpersonal skills are a ‘must’ here, as is high results orientation. Experience in fundraising for NGOs will prove extremely beneficial for your own personal career development in the middle to long term.

Office & Social Media Administrator

Running and co-ordinating the activities of our small but (of necessity) dynamic office team, organising training logistics and managing our social media communications will constitute your primary tasks here, along with managing our stakeholders’ database.

So, besides a relevant tertiary level qualification and/or proven job specific experience, you’ll also need sound all-level interpersonal and communication skills, as well as advanced knowledge of social media platforms/tools, an eye for detail and a sense of urgency. Brand building know-how, plus the ability to manage yourself as well as others, complete your picture.

For both the above positions, and in addition to a very real affinity for MOT’s cause, you will be a role model for the youth, boasting good networking skills, MS Office ability at intermediate or advanced level and a valid driver’s licence.

For either of them, please send your MAXIMUM FOUR-PAGE CV and covering letter – clearly stating for which position you’re applying – to by 21 August 2016.  If you require more information visit the MOT SA website at www.mot.org.za or phone 082 3731 744.
