The Endangered Wildlife Trust Head Office is based in Johannesburg, but we have field workers spread out throughout the country. Our field workers often work in hard conditions with not much equipment so they get extremely excited when we can supply them with equipment to make their lives easier and more efficient.
The EWT strives to utilise our resources to effect conservation outcomes. For this reason we try to get capital items and services such as advertising and auditing donated before we spend EWT money on them. We continue to get fantastic support from members and have even been able to distribute camping equipment to our sister organisation in Mocambique. We are able to cut down on our overall running expenses through this generous support and this ensures the overall effectiveness and sustainability of the organisation.

Bicycles - R 200.00 |
| In rural areas, bicylces are the most cost-effective, practical means of transportation. Our rural eco-warriors travel from school to school on their bicycles, but understandably, due to the rough terrain, they require a great deal of maintenance and do need to be replaced from time to time. |

Camping equipment - R 200.00 |
| Tents, sleeping bags, hiking backpacks, gas cooking equipment, GPSs, hiking boots. This equipment is all used by rural field staff in the execution of their duties. Any excess equipment is donated to our sister organisation (FNP) in Mozambique. |

Hands free telephone kits - R 100.00 |
| Many of our field workers spend the majority of their day on the road and out in the field. Having hands-free telephone kits enables them to handle telephone calls safely while on the road. |
