Cause: Umdoni and Vulamehlo HIV/AIDS Association
|
Approximate Total Cost: R 8000.00 |
Province: KwaZulu-Natal |
The Umdoni and Vulamehlo HIV/ Aids Association (UVHAA) is made up of people concerned about the impact of HIV and AIDS on rural communities in the Umdoni and Vulamehlo local municipalities on the South Coast of KwaZulu Natal. The core members of the Association have been involved in all aspects of responding to the AIDS epidemic for the past six years and include health care professionals, non-governmental organisations and members of the target communities who are active in community based health care.
We have identified 18 families with a total of 72 children who need help with clothing and bedding. A list of names and sizes is available, but all the children would appreciate waterproof raincoats, or anoraks with hoods, and warm track suits.
