Eco-Access provides opportunities for children with disabilities to engage with the natural environment. We take school children from disadvantaged schools on Camps and outings to learn about the natural environment and give them an nature experience otherwise denied to them up till now. Eco-Access also works with 5 Schools in the guteng area on a Green Schools Programme. The aim of the programme is for the schools to deal with environmental issues within the schools and surrounding community.
The Blind learners attending our camps need to be able to use a braille machine to make notes, reflect thoughts and write pieces and articles for their schools. This is to facilitate environmental learning at the camp and back at their schools.
