| The property consists of 25 houses, a community hall, pump room, guardhouse and a swimming pool. The property was previously used as housing for staff of Johannesburg Water. The area in question is completely fenced and could be regarded as a “residential estate” with its own communal facilities. All of the houses are of face brick construction under corrugated iron roofs. Finishes are non-existent, as most of the houses have been vandalized. Flooring is parquet tiles, PVC tiles or carpets. Fittings and finishes are of average to below average quality. The kitchen cupboards, geysers, etc in the units that are un-occupied, have been stolen and need to be replaced.
