The objective of the Foundation is to fulfil the dreams of children of all income groups and of any race, colour or creed between the ages of 3 and 18 years who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening illness by a doctor.
Reach For A Dream discovered an interesting fact about cancer and other life-threatening illnesses. A larger percentage of children survive than do adults. We believe that one of the reasons is simple, most children haven’t yet learnt what life-threatening means, they live each day as it is given to them.
For these children attitude is everything, and they need all the encouragement they can get. Whatever the dream, it’s often enough to give a child the will to carry on the fight.
