To develop an integrated support structure for families affected and infected with HIV/AIDS so that each member can maintain a sense of dignity and worth and together contribute to the positive development of the community by fighting the impact of Aids. |

Thembalethu Home Based Care exists to provide support for victims of HIV/Aids and their families. The support takes the form of Home-based care via care-givers employed by Thembalethu. Health care and advice to the community at large, the free provision of vegetable seedlings to the community and training in the field of local business management (example Asambeni Nkomazi African Experience). The management of the Thuthuka Eco-Business programme (A prgramme of support and development for local business), the provision of a local newspaper, "The Voice of Nkomazi Youth". |
