MaAfrika Tikkun provides Homebased Care Services to impoverished Communities severely affected by HIV/AIDs. We also support and provide community infrastructure for children orphaned or made vulnerable by the disease and have developed lifeskills training programs and camps to support these children within the community.
We have further trained caregivers who provide a parental/guardian role to the children. The program also includes a social worker, schools and government so that a holistic service is provided.
MaAfrika Tikkun also has a care of the elderly program incorporating food provision, safety (renovation of shacks), exercise and homebased care where necessary. We also provide them with food parcels .
We provide counselling services to our communities and caregivers are trained in counselling. We also have an emergency reaction unit that responds to disasters in conjunction with the local municipality
