Operation Sustainable Living - Educator, Matshidiso Mokoena of Boitsebelo Jun Tech School in the Free State wants to take 126 Grade 9 learners on a field trip to the wetlands at the Golden Gate Nature Reserve. Many of these learners have never seen a wetland before and this trip is part of a bigger project to understand what it means to live sustainably. The school also intends to involve these learners in developing a food garden. |
