Greetings

It has been just a month since we launched www.GreaterGoodSA.co.za and we're thrilled to report that the response has been more than we could have hoped for! To date, www.GreaterGoodSA.co.za has had 49,275 pages viewed by 15,437 unique visitors. There are wonderful early signs of successful giving of all kinds - money, time and secondhand goods - and the response from many corporates has been exceptionally positive. We would most especially like to thank the Cadiz Foundation who have significantly sponsored the operating costs of GreaterGood South Africa. Noah Financial Innovation have also come onboard, Broking for Good in The Good Shop (more about that later!). Coronation Asset Management, Woolworths, XSInet, Generator New Media and SI Futures have all contributed their support, for which we are most grateful. We can only wish for more of the same as we celebrate some important remembrances this month: World Aids Day on the 1st of December, International Day of the Disabled Person on 3rd December and International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development on December 5th.

It is also that gift-giving time of year - a time to show our appreciation for friends, clients and colleagues, as well as the time to treat our loved ones over Xmas. In anticipation of the season, our online Good Shop is brimming with lovely gifts that keep on giving.

We've made it absolutely easy for you to make selections from a wide variety of high quality, innovative products. You will find something delightful for everyone on your list, in every price range. I have to say that I am excited by the care and craftsmanship of the gifts we are featuring in the shop. Find my Top Ten Gifts List below or enjoy a browse through The Good Shop.

A major advantage of doing your gift shopping through www.GreaterGoodSA.co.za is that we have set up a courier service that will deliver your choices to your door, or directly to the person you want to treat. This includes an international delivery service, so you can send unique South African gifts to relatives or friends overseas. There is also a gift-wrapping and personalised card service.

What's most important of all is that by choosing to give a GreaterGoodSA gift, you are also giving wonderful support to a cause that is working wholeheartedly for the upliftment of all South Africa.

The main reason we have been able to get the Good Shop all geared up to meet your gift-giving needs for this season, is that stock broking firm, Noah Financial Innovation, has made a stock investment of a different kind. Noah's 'Broking for Good' initiative has supported selected www.GreaterGoodSA.co.za causes enabling them to build up their stock for the season, so that we can ship items to you immediately.

'Broking for Good' is a Noah-inspired social responsibility initiative that is geared towards raising funds for specific projects in order to make a tangible and meaningful difference in the lives of targeted beneficiaries. We are delighted to partner with Noah at Broking forGood for the GreaterGood.

More good news this festive season is that we will have an actual outlet for our Greater Good products from the 6th of December at The Link in Claremont, Cape Town. We hope to be able to open similar stores countrywide soon, so watch this space for the launch of The Good Shop in your own town.

GreaterGoodSA Gift Vouchers & Gift Certificate
Remember that you are also able to give a GreaterGoodSA Gift Voucher or Gift Certificate to someone you care about. You can either nominate a cause yourself or give the choice to that special person receiving your gift and let them choose their own gift item in The Good Shop or even make a donation to their own favourite cause. GreaterGoodSA Gift Vouchers are available as email or hard-copy vouchers, and we will deliver them to you or your recipient.

I know that you will get immense satisfaction this season when you combine giving to your loved ones with giving towards the Greater Good of all South Africa.

Happy Shopping!
Tamzin Ractliffe
