To Teachers Dream
Thank you for the opportunity to take part in this initiative.
It has exposed learners to information regarding life-outcome as is covered in the 2nd term, and while doing this also taught the the learners about communicable childhood diseases as well as HIV/AIDS.
At this age learners are vulnerable to sexual abuse. The puppet show seen by the learners is about a monkey who becomes ill and goes for an injection, as well as a rabbit that is HIV positive. The outcomes were achieved in a fun, interactive manner.
The show was a wonderful surprise as it was excellently performed and enjoyed by all.
On behalf of the Foundation Phase at Sparrow Foundation School, I would like to thank your organisation very sincerely for making our dream come true.
The Arepp Theatrical group gave an outstanding performance of the “No Monkey Business – Inside-out” puppet show.
The learners were kept spellbound by their fun way of educating and re-enforcing the different life-skills so important to their well-being.
May God bless your organisation in all of your efforts to promote education in “fun ways” for their physical, emotional and mental development.
Yours sincerely
Joan Bedderson
