EXPEDITION Project

After 6 months of operational planning and 10 years in the making, one of South Africa’s most ambitious and pertinent social/ environmental campaigns launches this month. The EXPEDITION Project will tour the country, visiting 200 towns in 365 days in a bid to revive and inspire a country, a nation, and a continent.

In 2012 an expedition team will depart from Cape Town and travel to 200 South African towns. They will be taking 365 days to do this trip and while visiting these towns they will be filming, photographing, interviewing, documenting and gathering information which will be compiled into a documentary and 13 part television series.

The team are in search of stories, successes, individuals and businesses that are making a sustainable and positive impact in South Africa. “Inspiration, action and positive transformation are our core ideals,” says EXPEDITION founder, Roger Wynne-Dyke.

Collaboration
The EXPEDITION team are looking for individuals, businesses and organisations to join them in creating a long-term, impactful project. They need the support of local accommodation establishments to make these expeditions a success.

People interested in the project can go to www.theEXPEDITIONproject.com to find out if the team will be passing through their town in 2012.
